Graduating with projects spanning kindergarten design, modular housing, and a Cantopop cultural hub
in West Kowloon. HKIA Student Showcase honouree.
Architectural Design & Theory I · Site: 51 Tung Street, Hong Kong · Tailor Shop, Cafe, Residential
A mixed-use building at the edge of tradition and modernity. This project explores the coexistence of a tailor shop, a cafe, and a residential area within a single compact urban site on 51 Tung Street. The transparency concept dissolves the boundary between public street life and private domestic space — allowing the activities within to be read from the outside while maintaining functional separation across the building's floors.

Architectural Design & Theory I · Site: Happy Valley, Hong Kong
An inclusive early childhood learning environment. This project explores how architecture can nurture curiosity and creativity in young children through carefully scaled spaces, natural light integration, and safe circulation patterns. Designed with sustainable materials and child-friendly ergonomics, the kindergarten balances vibrant play zones with calm learning retreats. Selected for the prestigious HKIA Student Showcase — the highest recognition for architecture students in Hong Kong.

Architectural Design & Theory II · Site: Tsing Min Path · Site Area: 1,991 m²
Bridging two worlds. A dual-site design connecting a noisy residential area (Site A) with a quiet natural zone (Site B) via an elevated walkway, located 34 metres apart. Site A hosts active, playful programmes for children. Site B provides calm, low-paced spaces for the elderly. The contrast in noise levels, sunlight, and user demographics became the core design driver — resulting in two architecturally distinct yet physically connected environments.

Architectural Design & Theory II · MIC Construction · Site: Tsing Min Path
MIC Hostel Tower. A modular integrated construction (MIC) hostel exploring interlocking geometry between single and twin rooms. Rooms facing two directions stack together, forming an interlocking structure where the void spaces created by alternating room orientations become shared common areas. A simple column grid at 3-metre spacing unifies the structure regardless of room orientation. Wind path analysis and sun-path studies informed the placement of MIC rooms on the east and south facades, optimising privacy, views, and natural ventilation.

Final Year Thesis · Site: West Kowloon Cultural District · Site Area: 13,800 m²
A continuous looping space for Hong Kong's musical heritage. The Cantopop Hub embodies a seamless architectural loop connecting performance, practice, and leisure zones. Visitors experience Cantopop culture through movement, sound, and social exchange — a journey through the past, present, and future of Hong Kong's most iconic musical genre. Early design studies tested level changes, underground loops, and elevated continuity before the final concept returned to a pure, continuous loop — matching conceptual clarity with the site's prominent position at West Kowloon Cultural District.
